Miruna Mazilu
Miruna is a London-based designer with a strong interest in conceptual and visual art. She trained as an architect at the Architectural Association School of Architecture and worked on a variety of architectural projects at reputable London studios.
She splits her time between practice and developing her artworks. Miruna’s portfolio addresses the cultural and social implications underlying the issue of ‘crafting’ identity and place in today’s rapidly changing environment.
The initiative of establishing Creative Archipelago is closely tied to her Diploma project, allowing her to continue investigating questions and concepts arisen during her academic years.

Sorana Mazilu
Sorana is a young artist working in a variety of mediums from digital design to mastering painting, sculpture and pattern making.
Her work explores the contrast between form and content by layering these various techniques. She is driven by depicting the fantastical nature of the ordinary subject she observes.
Sorana is currently studying to be an architect at the Association School of Architecture and is also developing personal artistic projects based on her studies there.

Clement Gavrila
Clement is an art and architecture enthusiast with a keen interest in media and technology. His work is very diverse consisting of various projects in different domains outside the ‘artistic realm’.
His involvement in CA is driven by his desire to provoke and promote creative thinking and ‘unfiltered’ design through collaborative projects.
